sculpture and textiles

From 2D to 3D with my roots in textile design I have come a long way to my present practice as an Artist. With a diverse set of skills, I can be found in my outdoor studio creating batiks, Sketches in Tyres, playing with resin or working in concrete. When I adjourn to the garudio I work in finer detail using a variety of found objects to create small sculptures.

I also enjoy making collaborations with other Artists. This has led to a variety of projects including  organising Nantwich Festival of Arts 2011 which then led onto the setting up of Art Up Close as a showcase for over 100 Artists work. Within the organisation we have engaged in Community Arts projects. I have curated exhibitions in the prestigious Hotel at Crewe Hall and organised Art Up Close in the Cloisters at Chester Cathedral. I work closely with fellow Arts organisations, Electric Picture House and New Mills Festival to develop the Art event, Sculpture in the Architecture
